Hey Tony, you should add Melanie Duckworth's "Northern Lights" blog to your reading list - she's a poet and recently completed her PhD on medievalism in Australian literature in York. She's an Australian living in Norway and she is a paraglider - her posts about paragliding are wonderfully poetic and her photographs are vivid. It's the closest I've ever felt to doing it myself.
